Speaking on a DDM TV morning show, Dr. Marshall Odede, Edo State Secretary of the Coalition for the Protection of Democracy and National Secretary of COPDEM’s Political Committee, issued a strong warning to the ADC as he defended Peter Obi’s defection to the party. Odede argued that COPDEM “moves where the wind blows,” insisting that Obi remains the only viable option capable of galvanising nationwide support for the ADC. He outlined key reasons the party must rally behind him, while firmly dismissing and countering remarks credited to ADC chieftain Kenneth Okonkwo, which he described as politically misguided.
