Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has stirred online debate after claiming to have seen a poster bearing the image of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during his visit to Morocco. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In a video shared on his social media page, VeryDarkMan expressed surprise after allegedly spotting the poster inside a hotel bar in the North African country. According to him, the poster appeared to be promoting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but prominently featured Seyi Tinubu’s photograph.
The activist questioned why the image of a Nigerian political figure would appear outside the country and suggested it could signal early political ambitions ahead of future elections.
Reacting in his usual outspoken style, VeryDarkMan suggested that the development reflected desperation within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I enter hotel for Morocco, guess who I see for bar? Seyi Tinubu. APC una carry campaign reach Morocco? Seyi na footballer? Wetin him picture dey do here? Una really desperate,” he said in the video.
His remarks quickly gained attention, sparking mixed reactions across social media platforms.
Mixed Reactions Trail the Video
While some users agreed with VeryDarkMan’s concerns, others dismissed his claims, arguing that the poster was purely promotional and unrelated to politics.
One user, @Addlinbaby, wrote: “What APC cannot do does not exist.”
Another, @Odsonfx, remarked: “If e reach your turn no work hard. Wait make you win election from social media noise.”
However, others countered his claims. @Kryptotajeer stated:
“This is not a political campaign, it’s clearly an advertisement. Seyi Tinubu is popular like many celebrities. Featuring his image isn’t campaigning; it’s pure advertising.”
The video continues to trend as Nigerians debate whether the poster was political in nature or simply a commercial or promotional design linked to the upcoming AFCON tournament.
