Abuja, Nigeria – February 6, 2025
Benjamin Mmadubugwu, a close associate of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has provided an update on the health and well-being of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) following his recent visit to the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters.
According to Mmadubugwu, Kanu remains in high spirits despite his ongoing detention. He described Kanu as resolute and strong, likening him to a “lion king.”
While acknowledging that Kanu has faced health challenges, he noted that his condition has improved.
“He is fine and managing his health, although his health has improved. His brain is more than a computer! Odogwu Bu Odogwu!” Mmadubugwu stated in an update shared with the public.
The visit comes amid continued calls for Kanu’s release and concerns over his prolonged detention. Supporters of the IPOB leader have repeatedly expressed worries about his health and legal status, urging the Nigerian government to ensure fair treatment and adherence to legal processes.
More updates to follow as the situation develops.
