“I Was Bullied” — Davido’s Alleged Daughter Appeals For DNA Test

Anu Adeleke, the young girl whose mother has repeatedly claimed she was fathered by Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke (Davido), has made a public appeal for a DNA test to establish her paternity. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In an emotional post shared on her Instagram page, the minor alleged that she has faced ridicule and bullying from fellow students whenever she mentions that Davido is her father. According to her, the repeated mockery has taken an emotional toll, prompting her decision to seek clarity on the long-standing claim.

“I was bullied, other students laughed at me,” she reportedly wrote, expressing frustration and a desire to know the truth about her biological father.

Anu’s mother has, over the years, maintained that the award-winning singer is the father of her child. However, Davido has not publicly acknowledged or confirmed the claim.

In her recent post, the young girl directly tagged the singer, appealing to him to agree to a DNA test in order to resolve the issue once and for all.

The post has since attracted widespread attention on social media, with Nigerians expressing mixed reactions ranging from sympathy to concern over the public nature of the appeal.

Some users argued that the child deserves closure, stating that a DNA test would put an end to speculation and emotional distress. Others, however, questioned whether such a sensitive issue involving a minor should be handled publicly rather than through private or legal channels.

One user commented that no child should endure bullying over unresolved adult disputes, while another urged restraint, emphasising the need to protect the child’s emotional wellbeing.

As of the time of filing this report, Davido and his representatives have not responded publicly to the appeal.

The development has once again drawn attention to the unresolved paternity controversy, with many Nigerians watching closely to see whether the singer will address the matter or seek a private resolution.
