Popular TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has broken his silence following his arrest and detention by the Lagos State Police Command over allegations of dangerous driving and an attempted suicide.
In this video, the influencer apologised to Nigerians, expressing deep remorse over the incident. Peller assured the public that he would not repeat such actions and revealed that he is currently receiving medical attention.
“I am sorry, Nigerians. Please, I’m very sorry. I will never do that again,” he said. “For now, I am on medication. Once I am done with my medication, I will be online.”
The incident had sparked widespread reactions online, prompting police intervention and renewed conversations around public safety and mental health.
