The Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, and Senator Ali Ndume (Borno South) has clashed during the screening of Reno Omokri as an Ambassador.
Omokri had appeared before the Senate alongside other nominees for Ambassadorial position.
the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs had cleared Ambassador-designate, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode.
Fani-Kayode was cleared after his appearance before the Senate.
Fani-Kayode, who is also a former Minister of culture, was given the ‘bow-and-go’ privilege.
Also asked to “take a bow and go” during the ambassadorial screening on Thursday was ex-Minister of Interior and retired Army general, Abdulrahman Dambazau.
